Our Mutual Friend, Baere Release Collaboration IPAs; Small Hold on its Way

Our Mutual Friend Brewing Company (OMF) is excited to announce their beer lineup for June. After a long hiatus from ongoing collaborations with Baere Brewing, OMF and Baere are excited to come together and brew something a bit different. This month look out for a pair of collaboration IPAs with Baere Brewing using the same hop profile and a Saison inspired by an esteemed Belgian Table Beer.

Available Saturday, June 11, OMF will release two collaboration IPAs with Baere Brewing Company that are both 6.5% ABV and brewed with Citra, Centennial and Colorado Copper hops.  Changes, Chances, Choices, OMF’s brew, is a Juicy and Hazy version of the collaboration. Choices, Chances, Changes, brewed by Baere Brewing, is the West Coast-style version. Both draft-only beers will be available at both taprooms.

“After the loss of our years-long Solstice Barrel collaboration with Baere that happened pre-Covid, we were eager to fill the void with another high-concept project,” says OMF Managing Partner Brandon Proff. “Brewing the same beer two different ways scratches the itch and gives us the chance to hang out with each other not once but twice! We are happy to finally be able to drink beers we made with such good friends again.”

Making its first appearance this year, Small Hold is an approachable 4.9% ABV table Saison with raspberry. Inspired by De La Senne’s Taras Boulba, a Belgian Table Beer, OMF sought to create a refreshing and light offering but with the brewery’s own spin with additions of fruit. This can conditioned beer will be available on draft and in four-pack 16-ounce cans.

Available Saturday, June 18, Baryon Sweep, a 7.3% juicy and Hazy IPA brewed with El Dorado and Azacca hops, is a previous draft-only offering that will be available in four-pack 16-ounce cans.
