Born from the collaboration of three legendary craft breweries – Perrin in Michigan, Cigar City in Florida, and Oskar Blues in Colorado – this big-bodied Oatmeal Imperial Stout is created with experimental hops, a wide spectrum of malts from around the globe, and a special strain of London Ale yeast.
John Stewart (Perrin), Tim Matthews (Oskar Blues), and Wayne Wambles (Cigar City) gathered to conceive and produce something entirely new. Dubbed Triangulation, this one-time batch is a rich and robust stout, but also very approachable. Big, dark, and malty, it’s the culmination of subtle brewing twists that will change your mind about what an Imperial Oatmeal Stout can be.
“Being a craft brewer means brewing with a personality and collaboration gives different perspectives and experiences an opportunity to mash up something new and creative,” Matthews said.
