Minneapolis Cider to Debut 1st THC-Infused Cider

As of July 1, a Minnesota state law allows food and beverages to be sold containing THC, and Minneapolis Cider Company is elated to debut its very own THC beverage on Friday, July 29. The goal – to be the first to market in Minneapolis since the July 1 ruling.

Introducing, Trail Magic, an unexpected surprise – first from the Minnesota legislature – and now from Minneapolis Cider Company. This delicious beverage is made with non-alcoholic cider infused with 3mg of Delta 9 THC.

“THC is an alternative to alcohol that gives consumers another choice of how to relax, unwind, and enjoy themselves with friends,”  says co-founder Jason Dayton. “The perks? It’s made with the cider our fans know and love, it’s low-calorie, it’s non-alcoholic, it’s real fruit, and there’s no added sugar.”

Trail Magic gets its name from an outdoorsy practice rooted in surprising acts of generosity. This trend has many forms: a ride into town; a cold soda at the trailhead; a shower and a bunk. “Trail magic” is considered by hikers to be a remarkable act of kindness and a positive influence on the trail and outdoor experience for all.

“The drink is no different, and is best to be enjoyed outdoors among great company,” says co-founder David O’Neill. “The THC in the beverage will provide consumers with a nice buzz, and the 3mg serving per can is equivalent to about a 5% alcohol content cider.”

Trail Magic THC Cider will be available in pineapple and mixed berry come launch day and will be available for purchase at the Minneapolis Cider Company tap room in Northeast Minneapolis.
