Lawson’s Finest Liquids, a family-owned, award-winning brewery known for its commitment to excellence, quality, and community, just released highlights from its robust 2025 brand review. The year was marked by impactful market expansion, celebrated product milestones, and a deepened commitment to social and environmental responsibility, setting the stage for an exciting upward trajectory for 2026.
“The support of our fans and the community remains at the very core of our success, as it has been from our early days,” said Lawson’s Finest Liquids CEO, Adeline Druart. “In 2025, we upheld our commitment to lead with quality and values that define Lawson’s Finest Liquids, focusing on not just exceptional beer, but meaningful community engagement, operational excellence, and long-term impact. We look forward to continuing this momentum into an even stronger 2026.”
Reflecting on the past year, Lawson’s Finest Liquids continued its trajectory of strong brand performance and distribution gains in 2025, with key accomplishments including –
- Exceptional Growth: Lawson’s Finest Liquids achieved +15.8%% growth in dollar sales in the Total Grocery channel (according to total year 2025 scan data ending 12/27/25), capitalizing on strong distribution gains and depletions throughout the year, highlighted by Sip of Sunshine and Little Sip growing at 6.2% and 11%, respectively, according to Northeast Food scan data.
- Category Leadership: The brand secured the #1 craft beer position in the Northeast FMCG, based on NIQ measurements, with strong success in the “craft” category reviews.
- Expanded Reach: The brewery continued its strategic expansion, showing significant growth percentage upon entering the southeast market, with continued distribution gains in North Carolina and Virginia, while strictly maintaining its cold storage, cold shipment, and cold shelving process to ensure brewery-fresh quality in every brew. In their home market of Vermont, the brand realized double-digit growth after a distribution realignment and partnership with Baker Distributing.
- Product Milestones: The flagship Sip of Sunshine IPA celebrated its 10th anniversary with a full year of fan engagement, culminating in a contest to brew with Founder Sean Lawson at the original Wizards Workshop. Lawson’s Finest Liquids also introduced Epic Sip IPA in October to build on the momentum of Sip of Sunshine 19.2oz single-serve cans, which rank #9 in total sales dollars in Northeast Convenience. The brand also won a prestigious World Beer Cup Silver for Fayston Maple Imperial Stout.
- Athletic Partnership: Following a successful initial collaboration, Lawson’s Finest Liquids has partnered once more with Olympic alpine skier Paula Moltzan, who recently took home a bronze medal in the 2026 Olympics, bringing back the limited-time Paula’s World IPA (6.2% ABV) in February to celebrate her incredible ski season and Vermont’s après ski beer tradition.
The Lawson’s Finest Liquids destination brewery and taproom in Vermont’s Mad River Valley remains a central pillar of the brand experience. To cultivate the most exceptional experiences, the brewery expanded its seasonal, craft-centric food menu, offering authentic Vermont flavors and seasonal dishes crafted from locally sourced ingredients. This carefully curated beer and food menu, paired with two nearby brewery-owned vacation rentals, makes the Waitsfield location the perfect place to gather. The brewery also launched a new series of weekly taproom events, including regular music and community gatherings.
In addition, through its Social Impact Program (the SIP), Lawson’s Finest continues to leverage its business as a community force for good:
- Community Giving: The SIP program surpassed $3 million in cumulative community donations. In 2025, the program expanded to include nonprofits across nine states with the Good Brews for a Cause initiative, supported by Cosmic Shift IPA.
- B Corp Excellence: Lawson’s Finest Liquids was recertified as a B Corporation, achieving a 9% increase in its overall score, reflecting its commitment to meeting the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance.
- Giving Tuesday: The company also proudly gave away $100,000 on Giving Tuesday to 69 Vermont non-profits with 35% of those dedicated to fighting hunger and food insecurity in the region.
“In 2025, we continued to turn our mission into measurable action, expanding our Social Impact Program, and strengthening nonprofit partnerships within the community that made it possible,” Druart said. “As we look to 2026, we’re committed to building on that momentum, continuing to invest in the people and places that make our work possible and ensuring community impact remains at the heart of everything we brew.”
In keeping with the brewery’s commitment to craft excellence, Lawson’s Finest Liquids is preparing to unveil its highly anticipated 2026 brand calendar, the biggest innovative year the brand has seen.
