10 years after its debut, Lawson’s Finest Liquid’s iconic flagship IPA Sip of Sunshine is experiencing double-digit growth in the first half of 2025. The Vermont-based, B Corp Certified brewery is reaping the benefits of intentional growth and strategic investments in values-based programs across its distribution footprint. The beloved brew is going strong in 2025, with 23% growth for the flagship across NE Food over the past 26 weeks and 21% growth in Vermont over the last 13 weeks.
Originally packaged in bottles, Lawson’s Finest’s decade-old lupulin-laden IPA Sip of Sunshine continues to grow on-premise at bars and restaurants in addition to deepened distribution of its always brewery-fresh iconic yellow can, which comes in 16 oz. and c-store-favored 19.2 oz package sizes. Sales are strong at music and sports venues, including Fenway Park and Gillette Stadium, where Lawson’s Finest Liquids brews are seeing double digit growth.
“It’s really special that this iconic beer continues to shine,” said Lawson’s Finest Liquids VP of Sales and Distribution Seth Talmon. “And we’re dedicated to continuously earning that place in fans’ hearts through our always-cold freshness model as well as ongoing efforts to give back to our community.”
Lawson’s core portfolio, featuring beloved brews like Little Sip, Scrag Mountain Pils, and Nitro Stout, is up 25% across the Northeast over the last 26 weeks. Lawson’s Finest proudly distributes its bright lineup of IPAs and other brewery-fresh beers across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, including Vermont, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island, North Carolina and Virginia, as well as Colorado. The brewery expanded its distribution last year to Virginia and North Carolina, marking its first new market entrance in over 5 years.
As Lawson’s Finest’s Liquids reaches more fans, the purpose-driven brewery maintains its commitment to growing its impact and support of healthy communities and environmental conservation. Since its launch in 2018, the brewery’s Social Impact Program (the SIP), has donated more than $2.5 million to over 400 nonprofits. For the first time this year, Lawson’s Finest expanded The SIP’s impact to include nonprofits across nine states with its latest Good Brew for a Cause, Cosmic Shift IPA.
Lawson’s Finest proudly released their second annual Impact Report this April, offering accountability and transparency into initiatives largely falling under the SIP.
