Castle Island Brewing announced in December of 2024 that it would be taking over the Intellectual Properties of the 35-year-old Cambridge Brewing. New owner Adam Romanow said plans to maintain CBC’s identity and traditions were the intent while slowly expanding its presence in the greater Boston area as well. Brewer Mag’s Jon Sicotte sat down with Romanow to discuss how the breweries came to the agreement and how it will benefit both brands.
