Blake’s Hard Cider Closes Out 2022 With New Releases

Blake’s Hard Cider (BHC), the Midwest’s largest craft cidery, caps off the year with a trio of wintertime releases to its product lineup. The season’s newest additions include Grand Cherry imperial-style hard cider, cocktail-inspired Mule de Pomme, and Celebration Mode mixed 12-pack comprised of BHC’s latest newest flavors, all available now across BHC’s 28-state distribution footprint.

Grand Cherry is the latest addition to the Kinder Cider Series of rotating specialty hard ciders benefitting BHC’s network of nonprofit organizations. The blend of Michigan Montmorency cherries, a hint of orange, and a touch of oak delivers a slightly complex Imperial hard cider coming in at 8.5% ABV. It is sold in 12-ounce 6-pack cans ($10.99 – 12.99 MSRP).

BHC’s Kinder Cider Series supports its philanthropic initiative and raises awareness for diverse causes including Empowerment Plan, LGBT National Hotline, Keep Growing Detroit, and Pets for Patriots. Since the Kinder Cider Series began in 2017, BHC has donated over $100,000 to its nonprofit partners.

“This year, we committed to being hyper-focused on product development to solidify and diversify our portfolio which led to several new innovative hard cider styles” said Andrew Blake, president, BHC. “Imperials have gained popularity recently, with the success of our first imperial-style hard cider American Apple launched in August, BHC saw the potential to carry on the momentum this category is currently experiencing with the creation of Grand Cherry which celebrates Michigan apples and cherries.”

BHC’s final installment in its cocktail-inspired rotating Bar Cart Series, Mule de Pomme is on store shelves now. With a flavor profile of juicy pomegranate, bold lime, and a kick of ginger, Mule de Pomme (6.5% ABV) deliciously stands on its own or makes a great mixer to elevate a Moscow Mule.

Finally, just in time for holiday festivities, BHC’s Winter edition Celebration Mode is a variety 12-pack including American Apple Imperial Style, Peach Party, Mule de Pomme, and Grand Cherry, all new 2022 offerings. Find it wherever BHC is sold ($18.00 MSRP).
