Sun King Brewery will celebrate the grand opening of its newest taproom located at 133 Union Street in Westfield, Indiana — a suburb north of Indianapolis — on Friday, April 24 at 11 a.m., marking the company’s latest expansion and continued investment in fast-growing Hamilton County.

Located at The Union at Grand Junction Plaza, Sun King Westfield represents the next chapter in the brewery’s Indiana story, bringing its award-winning beer lineup and community-focused taproom experience to one of the region’s most dynamic destinations.

The new, ground-up development, built in partnership with Old Town Design Group, is a family-friendly, two-story taproom featuring a full lineup of Sun King beers, including core favorites, rotating seasonal offerings, small-batch releases, as well as wine, spirits and non-alcoholic options.

“We are excited to be opening in Westfield because of all of the growth happening in the area, and we are grateful to play a role in the evolution of the community,” said Troy Gregory, Vice President of Retail Operations for Sun King Brewery. “Each of our locations is designed to reflect the community it serves, and Westfield is no exception.”

The Westfield location introduces a unique, multi-level experience. The first floor offers a family-friendly environment, while the second floor is reserved for guests 21 and over, featuring an elevated lounge atmosphere, private event space, and a patio overlooking Grand Junction Park.

In keeping with Sun King’s commitment to local partnerships, the Westfield location will feature a new food collaboration with restaurant veteran and entrepreneur Ali Awad. The partnership brings two complementary concepts under one roof: Stacked House and Upper House Social.

Stacked House, located on the main floor, is a casual, high-energy concept focused on craveable American comfort food, including smash burgers, sandwiches, pizza, salads and shareable appetizers. Designed with families and the nearby Grand Park crowd in mind, the concept emphasizes quality, consistency and approachability.

Upstairs, Upper House Social offers a more refined, lounge-style dining experience for adult guests. The menu features elevated small plates such as Harissa Shrimp, Chicken Souvlaki Skewers, and Ahi Tuna & Cucumber Salata, designed to pair seamlessly with Sun King’s beer portfolio.

“Partnering with Sun King is a natural fit for us,” said Awad. “They’ve built something that brings people together, and that’s exactly what we’re trying to do with Stacked House and Upper House Social— create spaces where guests feel comfortable, energized and taken care of.”

“Our goal was to build concepts that match the energy of the space,” Awad added. “Stacked House is fun, fast and craveable, while Upper House Social gives guests a reason to stay a little longer. Together, it creates a complete experience.”

The partnership reflects a shared focus on hospitality, quality and community connection by bringing together Sun King’s established brand and loyal following with thoughtfully designed food concepts that enhance the overall guest experience.
