West Sixth Brewery in Lexington, Ky. in partnership with another Lexington brewer, Country Boy Brewing, has launched “Country Western Volume 2.”
The Beer was initially made last year for the Lexington Craft Beer Week, but this it will be available on draft and in special limited release cans.
The beer has been spending the past couple of months since being brewed in bourbon barrels. It will be available on draft at both breweries starting at noon on May 9, with the cans being released on May 15th at 5 p.m.
This beer possesses roasted malty notes with the teasing of a bourbon aroma with subtle oak notes. West Sixth wrote on its website that, “Aged in bourbon barrels for 2 months, this collaboration beer is a little country, a little western, and a whole lotta fun.”
