Walnut River Brewing Company, known for their creative brews and Kansas roots, is excited to announce the release of their newest creation – Wally O’River’s Dry Irish Stout – that promises to captivate taste buds and redefine expectations.
This dark and inviting brew boasts a rich, roasted malt character balanced by a subtle hop presence and a crisp, dry finish. Wally O’River is meticulously crafted with the finest ingredients, including a special roasted barley blend and hops, resulting in a complex and nuanced flavor profile that’s both familiar and surprisingly modern.
“We wanted to create a Dry Irish Stout that honored the tradition while pushing the boundaries,” says Rick Goehring, Head Brewer at Walnut River. “We used a unique blend of malts and hops to achieve a depth of flavor that’s both smooth and satisfying, with a dryness that keeps you coming back for more.”
BJ Hunt, Business Operations Manager, sees Wally O’River as a strategic expansion of Walnut River’s repertoire: “We’re constantly innovating and exploring new brewing horizons, and this Dry Irish Stout is a perfect example. It caters to the growing demand for bold yet approachable beers while staying true to our commitment to quality and craftsmanship.”
Ben Wheeler, Director of Marketing, is confident Wally O’River will resonate with beer enthusiasts: “This isn’t your average Irish Stout. It’s a modern interpretation, a dark horse that will surprise and delight even the most discerning palates. If you’re looking for a local alternative to Guinness this St. Patrick’s Day, we’ve got you covered! “
Travis Rohrberg, Distribution Manager, takes pride in the meticulous process behind Wally O’River: “Every step, from selecting the ingredients to perfecting the fermentation and conditioning, has been carefully controlled to ensure a consistent and exceptional beer. We believe the quality shines through in every sip.”
Wally O’River Dry Irish Stout will be available on draft and in 12-ounce cans at Walnut River’s Taproom in El Dorad, as well as select retailers throughout the region starting in February.
