Tröegs Independent Brewing announces the winner of its annual Art of Tröegs contest.
For nearly two decades, the Art of Tröegs contest has invited fans to create an original work of art inspired by the independent, family-owned brewery.
This year’s grand prize winner, Moriah Tyler, wowed the brewery’s employees with her dazzling entry titled A Time and Season for Everything. The Adams County, PA-based artist painted the mirrored bar cart with two colorful collages featuring several iconic Tröegs beer logos using a technique called pointillism, in which tiny dots of color are applied in patterns to form images.
“I’ve always admired Tröegs’ artwork, the bold designs, the playful surrealism, and the sense of place each label captures,” says Tyler. “As an artist, it has served as a wellspring of inspiration in my own creative journey. There’s something about the way Tröegs honors both the craft of brewing and the craft of storytelling through their labels that deeply resonates with me.”
Her winning piece – along with two dozen other Tröegs-inspired works – will be on display following the 2025 Art of Tröegs Gallery Opening at 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 13 at the Hershey, PA, brewery.
The gallery opening coincides with the Second Annual Tröegs Art Market, which will take place at the brewery from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Art Market will feature a wide variety of handcrafted items for sale from more than thirty local artisans – including Art of Tröegs alumni – such as clothing, jewelry, pottery, crafts, ornaments, and more. Admission is free and open to the public.
