PHX Beer Co. announced it is now the exclusive brewer for Sonoran Brewing Company’s White Chocolate Ale and Root Beer. The popular beer and soda have long been a staple on the Arizona craft beer scene and have found a new home at the downtown Phoenix brewery.
“The Sonoran White Chocolate Ale and Root Beer soda have a huge following and we’re excited to brew it for the Arizona craft consumers,” said Adam Wojcik, Brewery Director for PHX Beer Co. “We are proud to offer them at both of our locations along with retailers across the valley via our distributor, Crescent Crown Distributing.”
Sonoran White Chocolate Ale is a wheat beer with a delicate aroma and a subtle taste of white chocolate. The Root Beer is flavored with Sonoran Desert honey and rich and creamy in taste. White Chocolate Ale is available in 12 oz cans, draft and soon to be in 19.2 ounce cans. Sonoran Root Beer is available in draft at select restaurants across the Valley.
Along with the Sonoran Brewing beer and soda, PHX Beer Co. has its own line of more than a dozen different craft pints including their flagship IPA, Arizona Gold, Bird City Lager, and Orange Grove IPA.
With Phoenix Ale Brewery closing their doors over the Summer, PHX Beer Co. purchased the brewing equipment from the former brewery in downtown Phoenix (3002 E. Washington St., Phoenix) and re-established the relationship with Sonoran Brewery. The brewery also opened a Scottsdale location at 8300 N. Hayden Rd. in the McCormick Ranch neighborhood. PHX Beer Co. is also set to open at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in February in the North Concourse of Terminal 3, post security.
