Modist Brewing is celebrating International Women’s Day the only way we know how: releasing a ground-breaking beer to benefit two change-making causes. On Friday, March 8th we’ll be releasing our first ZERO IBU hazy IPA that we’re calling “Has that line ever worked for you before?!” It was proudly designed, brewed, and named by the women of Modist, and we’ve proudly decided to donate $1 of each pint sold to Pink Boots Society to support their effort to support women in the beer industry, AND $1 of each pint sold will be donated to And Now She Rises, a local non-profit that provides resources to domestic abuse shelters.
We’ll be celebrating the release beginning at 6 PM with some badass lady DJs followed by a very special performance from the one and only Ashley Dubose. The event will also kick off a BOOK DRIVE! Beginning on International Women’s Day and continuing through the month of March, Modist will be collecting donations of any and all books that And Now She Rises will give directly to the libraries of local women’s shelters.
“Has that line ever worked for you before?” is a hazy IPA brewed with a special Pink Boots Society hop blend, Strata, and ZERO bittering hops (cause feminism and equality aren’t about bitterness yo). It’ll be on tap with a limited amount of crowlers available to take home that feature the above artwork.
