Lone Tree and Topgolf Centennial Hit an Ace with Beer Collaboration

Lone Tree Brewing Company and Topgolf Centennial take a swing at brewing a beer together. The collaboration, a Belgian pale ale brewed with Amarillo and Cascade hops, will tap at the brewery as well as Topgolf Centennial (10601 E Easter Ave, Centennial, CO 80112) on September 9.
A mutual admiration of beer and golf spawned the collaboration between the brewery and golf entertainment complex. “We’ve felt strongly about the business these guys are running down at Lone Tree Brewing and the positive impact they have in our communities,” says James Meyers, director of food and beverage at Topgolf Centennial. “We have visited their brewery numerous times to discuss what they are brewing and market trends in order to help better understand our business and opportunities.”
Lone Tree, known for its drinkable, fridge-staple beers, are no strangers to the golf course; many staff members often get in a few practice rounds at Topgolf. When it came to developing the beer recipe, the brewery and golf venue explored full flavored, drinkable styles to diversify from standard golf course beers like light lagers and IPAs. Brewed with a well-balanced pale ale grain bill and full hop profile, this beer combines hop bitterness and distinct Belgian ale yeast characteristics. At 5.8 percent ABV, this drinkable beer has a slightly malty sweetness with a spiced, fruity finish.
“Topgolf offers an experience that includes everyone from the golf pro to novice which definitely appeals to us,” says Dennis Stack, director of sales and marketing at Lone Tree Brewing Company. “We hope the guests at Topgolf Centennial will enjoy this beer as much as we do!”
Details about the Lone Tree Brewing and Topgolf Centennial partnership, including a GABF Brewers Golf Invitational, will be announced in coming weeks.
