Lawson’s Finest Liquids and the brew team behind the iconic Sip of Sunshine announce the seasonal return of Super Lemonova (5.1% ABV). This light and bright blonde ale with a twist of lemon is now available on draft and in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans at retailers across Lawson’s Finest’s nine-state distribution area in the Northeast and at the brewery’s destination taproom in Waitsfield, Vt.

Fruity but not overpowering, the Super Lemonova recipe was created by Lawson’s Finest Liquids Brewer Brian Wendt. The brew’s origin dates back more than 10 years ago, as one of Wendt’s first homebrews. Since its first release as a taproom-only brew, Super Lemonova has been a hit with local Lawson’s Finest fans.
“I’ve been tweaking the recipe a lot over the years, trying all sorts of different yeast strains and hop combinations,” said Wendt. “The one constant has been the lemon zest though; it really brightens the beer. Today the beer gets lemon three different ways: once in the boil and two different ways in the bright tank.”
