Fermenta is hosting its 5th Anniversary and fund raising party on Saturday, Oct. 12 at the picnic pavilion in Fitzgerald Park, Grand Ledge from 12-3 pm. Tickets are $20 for Fermenta members and $25 for non-members. For more information about joining Fermenta, click here.
Speakers this year will include past scholarship recipients and live music will be provided by Syd Burnham. Participants can bid on various silent auction items and participate in a 50/50 or Brown Bag raffle to help the group raise funds for scholarships for women in the beer, wine, spirits and fermented food industries. A taco bar, beer, and cider are included for the price of admission. There is an additional admission cost to enter the park, $3 for Eaton County residents, $5 for non-residents. The group will also be electing its 2020 Board of Directors at the event.
