Donate Your Time at CBC to Combat Food Insecurity

More than 38 million people in the United States live without reliable access to affordable, nutritious food. The COVID-19 pandemic has increased food insecurity, particularly among families with children and communities of color, who already faced hunger at much higher rates before the pandemic.

The Greater Twin Cities United Way has partnered with CAPICLUES, and NorthPoint Health and Wellness Center to develop seven “Flavors of Our Community” pantry packs containing food items essential to cultures served by these partners. This year, Flavors of Our Community comes to The Hub (located in Exhibit Hall A) at the Craft Brewers Conference.

Take action: If you have an extra 5-10 minutes while you’re at CBC, here’s a great opportunity to give back and help those in need.

Come meet with members of the United Way and the Brewers Association Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, as together we assemble food-pantry packets for members of the greater Minneapolis community.
