DC Brau Celebrates 15 Years with Anniversary Beers and Citywide Events

DC Brau Brewing Company, the District’s first production brewery since Prohibition-era brewing ended in the 1950s, is proud to announce its 15th Anniversary Celebration, marking fifteen years of independent craft beer in the nation’s capital.

To commemorate the milestone, DC Brau is releasing two special anniversary beers and hosting signature events on Thursday, April 16th and Saturday, April 18th, bringing together longtime fans, local partners, and the community that helped build the brewery.

Founded in 2011, DC Brau helped ignite the modern craft beer movement in Washington, DC. Over the past decade and a half, the brewery has grown from a small production facility into one of the region’s most recognized craft brands, known for flagship beers including Corruption IPA, Joint Resolution Hazy IPA, The Public Pale Ale, and Dueling Grounds Vienna Lager, as well as its fan-favorite phantom brand, Old Time Lager.

“Fifteen years ago, we set out to prove that world-class beer could once again be brewed right here in Washington, DC,” said Brandon Skall, Co-Founder of DC Brau Brewing Company. “This anniversary is about celebrating the community that supported us from the beginning — our drinkers, retail partners, employees, and the incredible DC beer scene that has grown alongside us.”
