Colorado Brewers’ Festival Attendees to Enjoy Beer from Innovative Eco-Friendly Glass

The leading producer of shatterproof, reusable, recyclable ‘go anywhere®’ drinkware will delight attendees of the 27th Annual Colorado Brewers’ Festival (COBF) for the second year in a row with ergonomic, eco-friendly beer and wine glasses. As COBF attendees pour into downtown Fort Collins for the festival that kicks off on June 24th and runs through June 26th, they will receive govino’s keepsake 16-ounce beer glass with the purchase of a tasting package.

“We couldn’t be more excited to participate in the Colorado Brewers’ Festival again this year,” said govino Marketing Director, Paulette Estrella. “This is a community that we’ve grown to love as our own since our primary manufacturing facilities are nearby in Aurora.”

govino’s 16-ounce beer glasses are made from a lightweight, crystal-clear, BPA/BPS-free polymer that accentuates the flavor and character of any beer. Festival goers will have the rare opportunity to try nearly 100 beers from more than 40 Colorado breweries in this glass designed to reveal the taste as the brewer intended.

Kicking off the festival with an exclusive tasting affair from 5-8pm on Friday, June 24th, COBF Staff will partner with the Colorado Brewers’ Guild to provide nearly 700 guests with fine food, as well as wine served from govino’s 12-ounce wine glasses. “The Summit” will feature unlimited tastings of more than 40 special-release beers, along with the exquisite sounds of a live string quartet. Saturday and Sunday promise to bring even more excitement for the anticipated 8,000 attendees with Northern Colorado’s finest musicians, vendors and food trucks, as well as an interactive Beer School with tastings and demonstrations.

govino drinkware was first introduced to the festival last year when it was hosted at Civic Center Park, where glass is banned by the city of Fort Collins. The festival’s new location in Washington Park faces the same limitations since the city recently banned glass in all park areas, so COBF festival staff and the govino team knew that bringing back the shatterproof glasses was a no-brainer.

“We recognized that being environmentally responsible was incredibly important to the festival and the city, so it was only natural that we provided our recyclable BPA/BPS-free glasses for event attendees again this year,” said Estrella. “Plus, rather than worry about cleaning up massive amounts of disposable cups after the festival, the COBF crew can focus on entertaining attendees and festival goers can reuse their drinkware throughout the weekend and beyond.”

While entry into the festival grounds is complimentary, attendees who wish to sample beer must purchase a tasting package, which includes a commemorative govino beer glass and 10 “Taster Tickets” redeemable for food and beer.
