Now entering its 11th year of operation, Sacramento’s New Glory Craft Brewery, founded by Julien Lux — a former wholesale rep from Northern California via France — got its start in wholesale. Lux, along with head brewer Jack Brian, shared insights with Executive Editor Jon Sicotte in their chat about how the brewery got its start. We talk about the challenges that it had in that wholesale arena along with details on the brewery’s mantra of “Be Best or Be Different,” and why the brewery switched to a larger system (and why it took six months to debut its first IPA). All of this was with the consumer of the Sacramento and Bay Area in mind.
