In this Brewer Magazine archive interview, Sketchbook Brewing’s Cesar Marron discussed his brewery’s journey, highlighting their 2025 Skokie Business of the Year award and Illinois Green Business Certification and how those have been a culmination of efforts on both community and sustainability efforts for the decade-plus-old Chicago suburb company. Maron spoke with Brewer Mag Executive Editor Jon Sicotte in February of 2025 about the plans going forward as they have looked to improve upon green efforts and he laid out the logistics needed for a small brewery to work for B Corp status. We also spoke about area partnerships that showcase the ability to now help other businesses in the area as well.
