A few years ago, Julian Arena stepped away from being a production brewer to launch Outsider Brewing near Asheville, North Carolina armed with the need to educate through transparency in the brewing process… literally. Using a system he helped design and create himself, the one-barrel brew house is made from glass so that anyone who comes to the brewery can experience an entire brew day while having beer.
