Bauhaus Brew Labs proudly reintroduces the Oktoberfest aficionado’s dream: the FESTBOX variety 12-pack. Anchored by the beloved Schwandtoberfest (5.7% ABV, 12 IBU), the collection is rounded out with the “Fest Coast” Modern German-Style Festbier (5.9% ABV, 20 IBU) and the unique “Dampf Punk” Bavarian-Style Dampfbier (4.8% ABV, 15 IBU).
Reflecting on the previous year, Bauhaus President and Co-Founder Matt Schwandt said, “[t]he Oktoberfest 12-pack resonated with so many people, offering a diverse taste experience.” FESTBOX represents an authentic Oktoberfest journey, capturing the essence of traditional Märzen Oktoberfest and the more contemporary Festbier flavor, notably enjoyed at today’s Oktoberfest in Münich. Not to forget, the inclusion of the Bavarian specialty, Dampfbier, often dubbed as the ‘poor man’s hefeweizen’. Schwandt elaborates, “[I]t’s a singular brew, an all-barley beer using hefeweizen yeast,” producing a copper-shade, a subtle maltiness, and yeast-induced hints of banana and clove.
Inside each FESTBOX: six 12oz cans of the Schwandtoberfest Bavarian-Style Märzen, alongside three 12oz cans each of Fest Coast and Dampf Punk. “Think of FESTBOX as your personal Oktoberfest celebration in a box,” remarks Bauhaus Head Brewer, Chris Squire.
From Tuesday, September 5, enthusiasts can find the FESTBOX in liquor stores throughout the Twin Cities and broader Minnesota.
