Grey Sail Brewing of Rhode Island is celebrating 15 years of brewing community this fall and everyone is invited to the party.
After a decade and a half as Westerly’s community brewery, Grey Sail is celebrating with the release of Middle Child IPA, a perfect mix between two Rhode Island favorites Captain’s Daughter Double IPA and Little Sister Session IPA.
“There is no better feeling as a parent than having all of the kids under one roof,” said Jen Brinton, co-owner of Grey Sail Brewing of Rhode Island. “Bringing Middle Child IPA into the family gives us the same feeling. It feels like the Grey Sail family we know and love is growing and we can’t wait for the customers who have become like family to us to get to know our middle child.”
Grey Sail and its sister companies, South County Distillers and Groton’s Outer Light Brewing, are also adding new drinks to their portfolio of fan-favorites and go-to beers, spirits, barrel-aged bourbons and whiskeys, and canned cocktails.
Grey Sail opened its doors and tapped its first keg on November 11, 2011. Since then, the brewery has become a community staple, donating countless hours and resources to community cleanups, hosting fundraisers and supporting the growth and development of Southern Rhode Island.
