This year, more than 15,000 MadTree guests have contributed $20,000 to MadTree’s charitable Tree Fund while making transactions at the Oakley Taproom and MadTree Parks & Rec. All funds are donated to local environmental nonprofits.

“MadTree is deeply grateful to our community for trusting and choosing us as the place to connect with and celebrate with each other. By sharing a beer, Sway, or meal with us, you directly help fund local environmental nonprofits,” says Rhiannon Hoeweler, CEO of MadTree. “Your belief in what we do powers this work, and together, we are planting a better future for generations to come.”

The $20,000 contributed by the community is in addition to the 1% of all MadTree sales donated to increase the amount of trees, flowers, and public spaces where people can connect and play. Together with the community, MadTree is working toward $5M of impact by 2030.

The $20k milestone also coincides with Cincinnati Parks’ annual Fall ReLeaf program. As the presenting sponsor, MadTree invites you to help grow our city’s canopy by claiming a free tree this September. Registration for free trees opens Saturday, September 12th at 8 AM for low-canopy neighborhoods and opens for all City of Cincinnati Residents on Saturday, September 19th at 8 AM.
