Dad Strength Brewing, America’s first dedicated low-alcohol craft brewery, is excited to announce its expansion into New York, marking the brand’s seventh state of distribution. All three Dad Strength SKUs, IPA, Juicy IPA, and the brand’s fastest-selling Hazy IPA, are now available at 44 Wegmans locations across the state.
The New York launch comes through a partnership with T.J. Sheehan of The Sheehan Family Companies. Together, the companies are focused on building a strong presence for low-alcohol beer across the Northeast and making it easier for more people to find and enjoy.
The partnership with Wegmans makes the expansion even more meaningful as the supermarket chain is the first partner to dedicate shelf space specifically to a Low & No section, helping establish low-alcohol beer as a real and growing category within the beer aisle.
“New York is a major milestone for Dad Strength, and partnering with The Sheehan Family Companies gives us an incredible opportunity to build on that momentum throughout the Northeast,” said Craig Carey, co-founder of Dad Strength Brewing.
“Seeing Wegmans’ decision to dedicate shelf space to Low & No products is a powerful signal that this emerging category has real staying power. It also shows there’s a growing demand for great-tasting craft options for consumers who want to drink less alcohol without giving up the experience of having a beer,” said Ryan Kutscher, co-founder of Dad Strength Brewing.
Dad Strength Brewing currently distributes to DC, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Michigan. With New York now included, Dad Strength is continuing to build momentum across the country and looks forward to bringing its low-alcohol beers to even more drinkers throughout the Northeast.
