Through an exclusive production partnership with Boulder Social (1600 38th Street, Boulder), Boulder Beer Co. is once again brewing locally, keeping the classics alive and the taps flowing.

To celebrate, guests are invited to a Tapping & Pint Night featuring the return of the legendary Shake Chocolate Porter on Thursday, April 9 from 5–6 p.m. at Boulder Social. As one of Boulder Beer Co.’s most beloved beers, this award-winning porter delivers rich aromas of sweet milk chocolate and roasted malt, complemented by subtle coffee-like notes and a devilishly delicious chocolate finish. During the event, guests can enjoy a complimentary 5oz. sample (must be 21+) and be among the first to experience the return of this iconic brew. Guests who purchase a 16oz. pint of Shake Chocolate Porter for $6 during the event will take home a Boulder Beer Co. branded glass. Throwback Boulder Beer Co. t-shirts featuring original designs from the 1970s and 1980s will also be available for purchase during the event. Boulder Social Mug Club members will enjoy a full pour of Shake Chocolate Porter in place of the sample during the event.

Not a member yet? Guests can sign up online or in-store and start enjoying exclusive benefits all year long.

In addition to Shake Chocolate Porter, two other legendary beers are back in rotation: Buffalo Gold Golden Ale, Boulder Beer Co’s original session ale and a Colorado favorite since 1989, and Sundance Amber Ale, first produced as Boulder Amber in the 1980s and updated to the trademarked name in 2006. All beers are brewed using their original recipes and available on tap at Boulder Social, with expanding distribution to local tap partners.
