
The Stevens Point Brewery’s sister brand Whole Hog introduces Tart Blueberry, a vibrant and thirst-quenching fruited sour ale that’s perfect for spring and summer enjoyment. Available April through June, this new seasonal brew can be found in 6-pack bottles and on tap wherever Whole Hog brands are sold. Whole Hog Tart Blueberry achieves its perfect balance of tart and sweet through the fermentation of pure blueberry puree.
“When you pour a glass, this brew really is a work of art,” admits Brewmaster Mike Schraufnagel. “We challenged ourselves to craft a sour for the casual drinker and sour fans alike. This project was a labor of love, and I think we nailed it.”
Whole Hog pushes the boundaries of the brand with its first-ever fruited sour ale.
Marketing Director Julie Birrenkott explains, “We recognized the need for a fruited sour ale within the Whole Hog family and we’re confident Whole Hog fans will love its vibrant color and delicious flavor.”
