Weed Light Beer Debuts at Texas Hospitality Tour

Weed Light, a sponsor of The Hospitality Tour, in New Braunfels, Texas, will safely quench the thirst of concert-goers at this year’s event, taking place on September 12 at the Freiheit Country Store. While the location boasts a capacity of 1,000-plus during usual business conditions, the event is enrolling safe social-distancing measures made possible by reducing the number of attendees to only 350 people.

The Hospitality Tour raises funds to help those in the hospitality industry who are currently struggling due to the impact of Covid19. The New Braunfels event will direct funds directly back into that community.

“It is an honor for Weed Cellars to be working with Culinaria, the non-profit organization that created this event, to bring much-needed aid to those hard-working folks in the hospitality world who have been impacted by Covid19,” says Patrick Thurmond, Southern Regional Vice President. “Weed Light, which will be served throughout the event, is the ideal refreshing brew to beat the Texas heat. Crisp and smooth with the perfect balance of malt and hops, we’re sure it will make all those who taste it very happy.”

Weed Cellars wines, Weed Light and Weed Straight Bourbon will all be available throughout the event.

Three concerts will take place on September 12th:

  • Tony Taylor 11:00 am – 2:30 p.m.

  • Austin Gillam 3:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.

  • William Clark Green and Statesboro Revue 7-10:30 p.m.

Weed Light, currently available at HEB, Granzins Market, Freitheit Country Store, and Spec’s is a light, and flavorful lager, retailing for $8.99 per six pack, and $15.99 per 12-pack. Despite its name, it contains no cannabis product, and is gaining consumer interest at an unprecedented rate.
