Urban Artifact is spicing things up this fall. The Northside Cincinnati brewery will release Bushel, its seasonal Spiced Apple Fruit Tart, to celebrate the beginning of the harvest season.
“We went with Granny Smith apples this year,” says Bret Kollmann Baker, the brewery’s Chief of Brewing Operations, “they’re bold and distinctive, just like us. A perfect compliment to our Fruit Tarts.”
The brewery dedicated to brewing with real fruit, sometimes accompanied by other real ingredients.
“The best part about Bushel,” Kollmann Baker said, “is our secret baking spice blend. It was a work of creative genius from our lead pilot brewer Tom. Using spices to mimic flavors of baked goods is such a fun thing for us and for the people enjoying our Fruit Tarts.”
Bushel will be available starting on Tuesday, July 26 in the brewery’s Northside taproom, online store, and at retailers across 17 states.
