Just in time for cold weather, Prost Brewing Co., the brewery dedicated to German craft bier perfection, announces the release of Winter Lager (6.0% ABV). The seasonal golden bock-style lager is now available in all of Prost’s Colorado biergarten locations and in 6-packs of 12 oz. cans at retailers across its seven-state distribution area.
True to style, Winter Lager is malty and toasty with a clean, crisp finish. It’s accentuated by aromatics reminiscent of winter spices and toasted chestnuts and walnuts. A perfect transition into the cold winter months, Winter Lager boasts a more assertive flavor profile than their typical lineup, while remaining approachable and balanced.
Prost Brewing Co. brews its Winter Lager at the Northglenn brewing headquarters on an authentische (“authentic”) Kaspar Schulz brewing system imported from Germany, blending traditional German brewing methods with modern innovations.
