Lakewood Brewing is releasing Muy Importante – Margarita Mexican Lager for an extended spring/summer seasonal from March – July.
Muy Importante was part of Lakewood’s Small Batch Can Series last year and was such a hit that the brewery decided to move it into the seasonal slot for 2020. The beer clocks in at a easy drinking 4.7% ABV and is about half the calories of a frozen margarita. The beer is brewed with agave, orange peel, key lime and lime juice and a hint of sea salt.
“Patio season is right around the corner and what goes better with a patio than beer and margaritas? So we combined the best of both worlds,” said Wim Bens, Founder and President of Lakewood. “The drinkablility of a Mexican light lager and the flavors of a margarita go beautifully together!”
Muy Importante will be available starting late February and early March through the end of the summer. It can be found in craft-savvy locations throughout Texas in 6-pack cans and on draft, as well as at the Lakewood Brewing Taproom.
