Lone Tree Brewing Company’s cult-followed Hop Zombie will branch out and grow friends in Parker this summer, making an appearance on Summer Solstice at the brewery’s new location.
Hop Zombie stirs beneath the glow of the longest day of the year, rising again— but this year, the thirteenth anniversary of this notorious creature, transformed by the heat and haze of summer into an Imperial Juicy IPA that lures you in with hypnotic waves of tropical fruit and concealing a potent 9% ABV bite. True to its lineage, Hop Zombie is loaded with several hop varieties, including Nugget, Strata, Motueka, Cryo Motueka, and Cryo El Dorado.
As per usual, Hop Zombie will appear for one day only on Saturday, June 21, beginning at 11am. The first 10 undead souls who arrive at the brewery will score a free glass, and all who are lucky— and timely— can purchase limited 6-packs and specialty swag, but only while supplies last.
The Summer Hop Zombie artwork is inspired by another cult favorite, The Sandlot movie. This year’s t-shirts and glassware say “You’re killing me, Zombie!” Don’t strike out—be there when the Zombie rises. (And, be on the lookout for the original zombie to creep onto the taps at Lone Tree’s original location this fall.)
The 2 Salty Sarge food truck will be on-site slinging ballpark-style eats to pair with this new Hop Zombie variant.
