Two new releases set to happen in August for Creature Comforts Brewing.
Awaken, My Love
Awaken, My Love (12% ABV) is an Imperial Stout made with coffee, cinnamon, and lactose. This beer is a recreation of the Curious No. 11, which won the People’s Choice award at the 2018 Strong Beer Festival in Atlanta.
The brewery partners with 1000 Faces Coffee to source select Guatemalan Los Santos coffee for this beer. With the rich, brown sugar notes from the coffee and a perfect touch of cinnamon, this beautiful stout comes to life.
Awaken, My Love (2019) will be available in 750-mL bottles from Creature Comforts’ tasting room on August 10.
From the Curious Series: the Curious No. 13
Creature Comforts uses its Curious Series to continuously explore the flavors of its beers and how those interact with different processes, ingredients, and time. The latest result from the exploration, the Curious No. 13, is a double barrel-aged Imperial Stout (13.9%).
The brewery used the base beer from previous release, Existence, and aged it for 16 months in port barrels after the beer fully matured over 11 months in Bourbon barrels. The double barrel-aged Imperial Stout will be available in 500-mL bottles from the brewery’s tasting room on August 10.
