Chuckanut Brewery is ushering in the holiday season with the release of three specialty beers, each crafted to complement festive gatherings and seasonal meals. All three offerings — a Baltic Porter, a Dortmunder Lager and a Citra Pilsner — are rolling out now in cans and on draft throughout Washington and Oregon.

The limited Baltic Porter arrives after a long-awaited collaboration brew day in August featuring Ashleigh Carter of Bierstadt Lagerhaus (Denver) and Jeff Bagby of Bagby Beer Co. (California). Fermented cool, aged three months and packaged for the holidays, the 8.2% ABV lager delivers smooth depth without harsh edges. Its deep garnet color, roasted malt character and port-like complexity make it a natural fit alongside braised meats, rich sauces or hearty winter dishes.

Chuckanut’s new Dortmunder Lager — brewed with Structures Brewing of Bellingham — is also hitting the market in both cans and draft. Crisp, golden and bready, the 5.8% ABV lager sits stylistically between a Pilsner and a Maibock, offering more malt depth than a traditional Pilsner while remaining highly drinkable. Its clean finish and moderate fullness make it a versatile pairing for pork, chicken or oysters.

Rounding out the trio is Chuckanut Citra Pilsner, set to launch in early December. This seasonal variation on Chuckanut’s classic Pilsner incorporates vibrant Citra hops, blending European and American hop profiles into bright notes of grapefruit, lemon and guava with a spicy, balanced bitterness. Well-suited for seafood, spicy dishes, salads or light appetizers, Citra Pilsner offers a fresh, festive option for holiday celebrations.

All three beers will be available on draft and in cans, providing convenient options for hosting, gifting or enjoying at home throughout the season.
