Call to Arms Announces 2022 Pride Fest Celebration

After a two-year hiatus, Call to Arms Brewing (CtA) is thrilled to announce the return of their 2022 Pride Fest celebration. This year’s event taking place on Saturday, June 25, will serve as the culmination of the brewery’s full slate of Pride Month festivities.

Call to Arms’ June Pride programming includes the official release of this year’s official Pride month beer, Narnia of Partya, a Kiwi Hefeweizen on June 1, which coincides with this month’s edition of Drag Trivia night featuring Talia Tucker L’Whor and Muni Tox. On June 3, CtA’s monthly Brass Band First Friday will be decked out in full Pride gear for their musical performance. Then on Sunday, June 12th, the brewery welcomes a full-blown drag show featuring emcee and performer, Talia Tucker L’Whor as well as KJ Saint Anthony and La La Queen.

However, the centerpiece of June’s Pride festivities revolves around the return of CtA’s Pride Fest, which revives the brewery’s celebrated Pride Parade kicking off at 2pm. The event features participation from partner breweries across the city and welcomes the general public to join in marching down Tennyson Street starting from Highlands Garden Village at the SW corner of 38th and Tennyson at 2pm. From there, the parade will proceed North down Tennyson before concluding at Call to Arms with a concert from Hey Lady, a B52’s Tribute Band.

Additionally, throughout the day on June 25, 10% of all beer sales will go toward supporting The Transgender Center of the Rockies, a tremendous organization that provides holistic gender-affirming services to support transgender and gender-expansive individuals.

“Call to Arms has always been firmly committed to supporting the LGBTQ+ community locally and afar,” explains Chris Bell, founder of Call to Arms Brewing. “While it’s a cause that we live by on a daily basis, we’re really happy that we will be able to fully celebrate Pride Fest once again this year.”

Call to Arms Releasing Narnia of Partya, This Year’s Official Beer of Pride Fest

In advance of this year’s 2022 Pride Month celebrations, Call to Arms Brewing is excited to announce the release of “Narnia of Partya”, a Kiwi Hefeweizen which will serve as this year’s official beer for the brewery’s Pride Month fundraiser. In addition to 10% of all beer sales going to support The Transgender Center for the Rockies during Pride Fest, 10% of sales from “Narnia of Partya” throughout the month of June will also be donated to The Transgender Center for the Rockies.

“Narnia of Partya” first made its debut during last year’s Pride Month celebrations and was so popular that it will be receiving full distribution via the 16oz can format for the first time this year. “We had been wanting to brew a Hefeweizen for a while now,” said Bell. “Playing off of the style’s natural banana esters, we decided to add kiwi to lend a tart fruit note, which makes this one an easy drinker!”

In addition to Narnia of Partya, Call to Arms will also feature the following Pride Fest beer releases: “My Favorite Color is You”, a dry-hopped Lager, “You’re Not Gay, I Am”, a Double Dry-Hopped West Coast IPA. “The Alumni Beer”, a tart tropical IPA. This beer was a collaboration of brewers and industry members from all over the industry that had originally worked together at the old Avery location.
