A double winner this year out of Katy, Texas is No Label Brewing. The brewery picked up World Beer Cup Gold for its Barrel-Aged Wee Heavy, Perpetual Peace; along with a Craft Beer Marketing Awards Platinum Crushie for Coolest Taproom & Beer Garden. Tom Paynter & Ryan Traylor met up with Executive Editor Jon Sicotte to chat about the logistics of brewing for contests like WBC, GABF, the US Open Beer Championships and more. Plus, the importance of recognizing breweries in other aspects outside of beer are important to the company and being able to be one of the “coolest” taprooms matters to them and why.
