42 North Brewing Company was founded in 2015 in East Aurora, NY, outside of Buffalo by John Cimperman. After spending 20 years in marketing and branding, John followed his passion into craft beer. Previously he ran marketing for four professional sports teams and founded a marketing agency, where the brewery is now housed. 42 North refers to the brewery’s home, on the 42nd parallel, A latitude that is rich in history and hop growing. 42 North is distributed in Western and Central NY, as well as a recent introduction to the Northeast Ohio/Cleveland market and its Borderland IPA is the flagship that drives a marketing campaign toward music, including the Borderland Music Festival.
