Bale Breaker Brings Back Hunt For The Golden Can

The folks at Bale Breaker Brewing Company, a family-owned brewery located on their 4^th generation hop farm in Yakima, Washington, love a good scavenger hunt. This summer they’re bringing back their Golden Can Giveaway – a giant scavenger hunt for 50 Golden Cans, hidden within Bale Breaker 12 packs across Washington, Oregon, and Idaho.
 
Customers can purchase any of the brewery’s 12 pack options: Bale Breaker Variety 12 packs; Topcutter IPA 12 packs; Pilsner 12 packs; and YOXI Craft Hard Seltzer Variety 12 Packs. Hidden within a few of these 12 packs are 50 Golden Cans – each golden can finder will win a prize, and one lucky winner will win a grand prize.
 
These cans will start hitting shelves right around the 4^th of July, and the drawing for the grand prize will happen just after Labor Day on September 12^th.
 
What can the lucky finders of the Golden Cans expect as a prize? Any Golden Can found and entered on Bale Breaker’s website will win a $25 merch prize pack from the brewery. But, more importantly, the Golden Can is a customer’s ticket to winning the grand prize package. One lucky winner will get the ultimate outdoor gear set up: one 4-person tent, two Bale Breaker branded camp chairs, one $50 Bale Breaker gift card to use at the Yakima taproom, one Bale Breaker branded picnic blanket, one Bale Breaker branded Igloo cooler, and four Bale Breaker koozies, a prize package worth over $500!
 
“We last ran the Golden Can contest in 2021, and our customers had a blast finding the golden cans hidden in our Variety Packs,” says Bale Breaker co-owner Meghann Quinn. “But we knew if we were going to bring it back in 2023, we needed to go bigger – so expanding to all of our 12 pack options (including Variety Packs, YOXI Variety Packs, Topcutter 12pks, and Pilsner 12pks) was a great way to increase the fun, as well as drive sales to our large-format packages. It’s a fun adventure for customers – plus, even if you don’t find a golden can, you still get a tasty beverage!”
