3 Sheeps Brewing Co., one of Wisconsin’s largest and most established breweries, is now accepting members for their Barrel Society this year with a new option to cellar reserved beer.
In the program’s seventh year, members now have the option to have reserved beer stored at the taproom for the entire year, if needed. Beer can be held for days, weeks, months, or up to January 15, 2025, offering flexibility and convenience to an already stand out program. This program enhancement gives members, particularly those from further afield and out of state, the opportunity to make only one trip to pick up the entire year’s worth of exclusive barrel aged releases if needed, or choose when pickups fit in their schedule. The fee to cellar beer is $1 per unit (i.e. per bottle, per can, per 4-pack)
“This program addition is aimed at fans that have wanted to be part of the Barrel Society in prior years but it just wasn’t feasible due to their schedules and distance from the taproom,” said Grant Pauly, founder and brewmaster of 3 Sheeps Brewing Co. “We’ve heard the requests over the years and we’re excited to be able to offer it. Like so many aspects of the Barrel Society, we’ve listened to our fans and implemented a change that improves the experience. We can’t wait for new members to join who couldn’t experience our beer in the past.”
OVERVIEW: The 3 Sheeps Barrel Society is a group of barrel-aged beer lovers that has access to six society-only beer releases per year, which include two variants of the bourbon barrel-aged Imperial Stout, The Wolf. The Barrel Society members also receive the ability to pre-order any and all barrel-aged beers throughout the year with flexible pick up options, including quarterly pick-up windows throughout the year, as well as the newly implemented cellaring program that keeps their beer secure until it is convenient for them. Standard Membership: $50 to join and $20 per Barrel Society Beer**
Premium Membership: $50 + $215 to pre-purchase two bottles of each of the six beer releases at a discounted price
