In celebration of the upcoming Virginia Beer Day on August 14, Craft Beer Professionals, the organization behind the initiative, is taking the official pint glass on a one-day, cross-state tour of Virginia breweries.
On Monday, July 14, the Virginia Beer Day – Pint Glass Tour will kick off in Hampton Roads and head west toward Salem, making as many brewery stops as physically possible in a single day. The tour will include taprooms such as Studly Brewing, Maker’s Craft Brewery, Hardywood Park, The Board Room VA, Lost Barrel Brewing, Devils Backbone, and finish strong at Parkway Brewing Company in Salem.
Along the way, the limited-edition Virginia Beer Day glass will be photographed at each location, building excitement and highlighting the community behind this statewide initiative.
Virginia Beer Day officially takes place on Thursday, August 14, 2025, with breweries across the Commonwealth offering the exclusive pint glass featuring artwork by Tianna DaCosta, a Virginia-based designer. Glasses will be available in participating taprooms while supplies last.
$1 from each glass sold will go toward scholarships for the 2025 Virginia Brewers Conference, helping beer professionals across the state gain access to industry education and networking.
“Virginia Beer Day is about coming together to celebrate what makes this state’s beer scene so special,” said Andrew Coplon, founder of Craft Beer Professionals. “This glass tour is a fun, grassroots way to show just how many great breweries are behind it.”
Follow the tour on social media @VirginiaBeerDay and at virginiabeerday.com to see photos, participating taprooms, and updates as the glass makes its way across the state.
