
It’s a new day at Urban Chestnut Brewing Company (UCBC). After its new investment partner Brian Travers joined the team last fall, UCBC has been refurbishing its Midtown Brewery & Biergarten and Grove Brewery & Bierhall and enhancing its efforts to support wholesale and retail partners throughout the region. Executing this first phase of investments is part of UCBC’s long-term vision to be a leader in the future of American breweries. Guests and fans of the brewing company – a mainstay in the region for more than a decade – can experience many upgrades now, just in time for summertime enjoyment, with more to come in subsequent phases.
Guests visiting the Midtown Brewery & Biergarten will experience the revamped look and feel throughout the space. The Biergarten features new furniture, umbrellas and landscaping. Updates to the outside bar are coming soon along with all-new outdoor media. The UCBC team also plans to expand offerings beyond its award-winning beer by introducing an innovative spirits program for guests to enjoy.
At the Grove Brewery & Bierhall, the team has invested in new media and sound throughout the Bierhall, event space and terrace. Infrastructure and furniture innovations will include a major renovation to the back bar, new high-top seating options in the Bierhall and new terrace furniture upgrades. Coming soon, guests can experience the new lounge area, a major overhaul to reinvent the current retail space. This new dynamic space also will be available as a private event group space for reservation. The team’s new director of private guest events will be in place this summer to provide dedicated guest service for those planning special events of all kinds at both locations. The new spirits program will be introduced at the Grove location as well in the coming months.
