Saint Arnold Brewing Company, the 2017 Mid-Size Brewing Company of the Year, is offering a limited number of memberships to the Saint Arnold Society, a group with many perks, including free beer for life.
To coincide with the opening of the Saint Arnold Beer Garden in 2018, Founder and Brewer Brock Wagner created the Saint Arnold Society. For a one-time membership fee of $1,000, members of the Saint Arnold Society will receive many benefits including: a free beer with each visit, a handmade engraved pewter mug stored at the Beer Garden, hard hat access to the site during construction, and more. This membership can be enjoyed for the rest of one’s life.
“Since opening Saint Arnold Brewing Company in 1994, I have long had a dream of creating a beer garden that would be a destination for the community to gather – a place Houstonians are proud of and want to bring visitors to,” said Wagner. “After 23 years, much brewing, getting laws changed, and moving to our downtown location, this dream is finally becoming a reality.”
The Beer Garden will be located next to the existing brewery on Lyons Street and will be open seven days a week to showcase current beers, special barrels, and beers in development. Saint Arnold worked with architects Natalye Appel + Associates and landscape architects Office of James Burnett (OJB) on the design which will include a dissolving metal building that will offer an amazing view of the downtown Houston skyline, murals by local artists, pet-friendly outdoor seating, and more.
