Mother Road Brewing Company thanks the community for voting the brewery Best of Flag from 2012 – 2022. This year, the brewery continues its tradition of investing directly in the community instead of advertising with the third annual Building Community Awards, running from October 1 through December 2, 2025.
The Building Community Awards invite Taproom guests to nominate and vote for local charities to receive direct funding, with $3,000 in total donations awarded. Nominations will be accepted from October 1–17.
After the nomination period, Mother Road will identify the top five charities submitted, which will move forward to the voting round. Guests can then cast their votes from October 27–November 11. On December 2, 2025 – Giving Tuesday -the winning charity will be awarded $1,000, while the four runners-up will each receive $500. Donation checks will be presented that same day during a Taproom celebration.
The Building Community Awards are an extension of Mother Road’s mission to build community one pint at a time, reflecting the brewery’s commitment to supporting the people and organizations who make Northern Arizona thrive.
“We look forward to having our community guide us toward the organizations and charities that make our town such a special place. We believe Flagstaff deserves our investments far more than spending advertising dollars on a popularity contest,” said Dylan Prater, Director of Hospitality at Mother Road.
