Migration Brewing is thrilled to announce the release of Paloma Sour, the latest project from our award-winning barrel aged program. A unique and refreshing golden soured ale that has just won the prestigious Gold Medal at the Best of Craft Awards competition. This exceptional brew is set to hit select Oregon retailers in 500 ML bottles, and we can’t wait for you to experience its delightful flavors.
Paloma Sour is a gently tart ale that begins its journey with a careful fermentation process, followed by inoculation with our house lactobacillus culture. The beer is then aged in Reposado Tequila barrels, infusing it with rich, complex flavors. To create the signature Paloma-style cocktail experience, we blend in generous amounts of grapefruit puree, fresh lime juice, and zest, finishing it off with a dusting of Hawaiian sea salt.
The result is a beautifully balanced beer that showcases hints of oak, delicate tequila notes, and vibrant citrus flavors. The gentle acidity and light salinity come together to create a refreshing and complex drinking experience that appeals to both beer enthusiasts and cocktail lovers alike.
“We are incredibly proud of Paloma Sour and honored to receive the Gold Medal at the Best of Craft Awards,” said McKean Banzer-Lausberg, CEO & Co-Founder. “This beer represents our commitment to innovation and quality, and we believe it will resonate with our customers who appreciate both craft beer and cocktails.”
Paloma Sour will be available in 500 ML bottles at select retailers across Oregon starting in May. This is a limited release so don’t miss your chance to enjoy this award-winning brew!
