MadTree Parks & Rec opened February 6, 2025, at 4321 Glendale Milford Road. Located in Summit Park in Blue Ash, Ohio, the new restaurant is a destination for the entire community — families, parkgoers, and business folks alike.
MadTree Parks & Rec is the company’s third location and continues MadTree’s tradition of creativity, sustainability, and inclusivity. Developed in partnership with Blue Ash, Parks & Rec will be open seven days a week with brunch, lunch, dinner, and adventure served daily.
The 15,000-square-foot restaurant and private events space extends Summit Park’s green space with unique elements that cater to all ages. The expansive restaurant features award-winning craft beers, hand-crafted cocktails, and a curated food menu. This unique combination will establish Parks & Rec as a popular destination for every occasion, including large group celebrations, happy hours, morning meetings, date nights, family outings, and everything in between.
“MadTree is thrilled to join the Blue Ash community. Summit Park is the perfect home for Parks & Rec, it allows us to further our purpose: to connect people to nature and each other,” said MadTree Co-Founder Brady Duncan. “We’re looking forward to becoming a cornerstone for the community and becoming the place neighbors and families build lasting memories.”
Additional features will be unveiled this spring, including a to-go window, outdoor playscape, and human foosball. The outdoor features complement an extensive patio, enabling guests to blend their Summit Park experience with MadTree hospitality.
“MadTree Parks & Rec brings new life to the northwest corner of Summit Park with amenities that offer great value to our community,” said Blue Ash Parks and Recreation Director Brian Kruse. “The City envisioned transforming the hangar into an iconic destination, and seeing it become this remarkable restaurant brings that vision to life. We’re excited to partner with MadTree for many years to come.”
MadTree’s expansion allows the company to accelerate its goals of positively impacting the environment. The company is the only B Corp brewery in Ohio and is a proud member of 1% for the Planet. One percent of sales — including sales at Parks & Rec — are donated to local, environmental nonprofits. Summit Park will be a financial beneficiary of MadTree’s success.
The opening of Parks & Rec marks the debut of Branch Out. This new MadTree program and infrastructure supports inclusion for individuals and families with developmental disabilities throughout the MadTree brand.
“MadTree is excited to lead the way in the hospitality industry by creating the most inclusive & accessible restaurant in the region — Parks & Rec,” said MadTree VP of Experience & Impact Rhiannon Hoeweler
