Lawson’s Finest Liquids, the award-winning Vermont craft brewery with a commitment to quality and sustainability, is releasing its newest year-round brand Hazy Rays. The tropical, fruit-forward hazyjuicylicious IPA comes in at 5.3% ABV and is bursting with flavor without being overly bitter.
Hazy Rays joins Lawson’s Finest’s lineup of flagship brands and can be found year-round in 4 packs of 16 oz. cans and 12 packs of 12 oz. cans alongside Sip of Sunshine, Little Sip and Scrag Mountain Pils at retail stores across Vermont, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island.
“Hazy Rays is more translucent than other NEIPAs. We wanted to stay true to the Lawson’s Finest brand by making it bright, clean and balanced. In the right light, the haziness makes it feel like it’s glowing,” said Sean Lawson, CEO and founding brewer of Lawson’s Finest Liquids. “It’s tropical and fruit-forward with lots of flavors from the orange family of citrus and a sweetness on the finish. We wanted it to dance on the palate.”
Lawson’s Finest, founded in Waitsfield, Vermont., in 2008, was named the 2022 Brewery of the Year by Beer Connoisseur and boasts a growing collection of award-winning beers brewed with passion and precision, including the renowned Sunshine family of IPAs. Continued investments in quality, sustainability, and community have positioned Lawson’s Finest as one of the most delicious go-to breweries in the Northeast.
“I’m a hop head from the start, so I had a lot of fun developing this recipe with the team. Our director of brewing operations dubbed the beer superjuicyfruityhazyipa while we were perfecting the recipe,” said Lawson. “Somewhere along the way hazyjuicylicious just stuck around the brewery as the perfect way to describe Hazy Rays. Like all our beers, Hazy Rays will come to stores fresh and always cold-stored. We took our time to make it the finest.”
Hazy Rays celebrations kick off on March 31 with release parties at bar and restaurant locations in nine states throughout the Northeast.
