Cincinnati-based Rhinegeist Brewery is proud to introduce Juicy Truth, a new, year-round Hazy/Juicy IPA hitting taps and shelves in January. Inspired by Rhinegeist’s iconic flagship IPA, Juicy Truth delivers the consistency, quality and flavor that fans have come to expect from Truth, but highlights the tropical, juicy notes of the hop bill rather than the more traditional pine and grapefruit notes of the West Coast style IPA. Juicy Truth will be available year round in Ohio, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Indiana, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Chicago, Illinois and Houston, Texas.
Not merely a hazy version of the Truth recipe, Juicy Truth utilizes years of innovation and experimentation in the Hazy/Juicy IPA space to deliver to deliver waves of fruity, juicy, tropical flavors of pineapple, mango and orange, while maintaining Truth IPA’s high standard of quality, freshness and consistency.
“We’ve innovated in hazy IPAs for years now, but we’ve never had a full on year-round hazy IPA,” notes Rhinegeist CCO Adam Bankovich. “It’s a big deal for us, to take the quality and consistency that Truth embodies, and extend that into a hazy juicy IPA that bears the same name. It’s going to make a big splash.”
Juicy Truth clocks in at 6.5% ABV, and will hit the market at the start of the new year in 6-pack 12oz. cans and on draft. Following right behind the Juicy Truth release, Rhinegeist will also unveil brand new 19.2oz cans for the first time! Beginning in late February/early March, both Truth and Juicy Truth will be available in 19.2oz single serve format.
“In recent years 19.2oz cans have become one of the most important package sizes you can have as a craft brewer ,” adds Bankovich. “We’re excited to be able to offer Rhinegeist fans more ways to enjoy the Truth family of beers by adding this innovative serving size.”
Keep an eye out for Juicy Truth on taps and shelves near you beginning in early January, and 19.2-oz. Cans of Truth and Juicy Truth in late February/early March.
In additional 2023 news, Rhinegeist will be expanding their distribution footprint to West Virginia early in the new year.
