Hopworks Releases Buzzworthy New Beestly Organic Honey Porter

Hopworks Urban Brewery (HUB), the first B Corp brewery in the Pacific Northwest, has officially launched its new, gold medal award-winning Beestly Organic Honey Porter. Brewed in collaboration with GloryBee, this new brew utilizes their organic clover honey and supports their Save The Bee initiative. Beestly is the third in HUB’s lineup of organic beers available year-round.

“We couldn’t be more stoked to work with GloryBee to make this beer a part of their Save The Bee initiative,” said Matt Speckenbach, Head Brewer at Hopworks. “We wanted to create a brew that would be unique and tasty, and that could also help to raise awareness about the importance of pollinators to the food supply.”

GloryBee estimates that one-third of our diet is currently derived from plants that require pollination, and in the US, honeybees are responsible for 80% of agricultural pollination.

Hopworks is celebrating the Beestly’s release on April 1, 2021, at their Powell Boulevard brewpub. From 6 pm to 9 pm, Jermaine will be playing live music in the outdoor beer garden. The first 30 guests who order a pint of Beestly Organic Honey Porter will receive their drink in a keepsake Save The Bee pint glass. Every pint of porter served during the day will come with a ramekin of honey roasted peanuts. Learn more about the release here
