Empyrean Brewing Co. has released its newest seasonal beer, Solar Flare Summer Lager. The limited-edition brew is now available in six-packs of 12 oz cans and on draft at select locations.
With an ABV of 4.8 percent, Solar Flare is brewed for the warmer months. Crisp and smooth with a touch of malt sweetness, it’s a lager built for summer’s slower moments, like grilling with friends, evenings on the patio, or any time the cooler’s close by.
“We knew we wanted a pale, malt-forward lager in our summer lineup,” said Jim Engelbart, operations manager at Empyrean Brewing Co. “Solar Flare turned out beautifully – golden, easy and refreshing but with enough flavor to hold-up to wood-fired foods and BBQ.”
Built with a base of German heirloom barley and finished with a blend of modern hops, Solar Flare reflects Empyrean’s approach to seasonal brewing: approachable, high-quality beers that align with both tradition and setting.
“Not every summer beer needs to be citrus-drenched or overly complicated,” said Ben Matya, sales manager. “Solar Flare brings it back to what works. It’s a classic in the best way, easy to drink, and still hits just as well after the second one.”
Solar Flare Summer Lager will be available for a limited time throughout the brewery’s distribution footprint. For more details, visit www.empyreanbrewingco.com or follow Empyrean Brewing Co. on social media for release updates.
